Sebastiaan Foppema

Senior Vice President of Provider Sales

Mr. Foppema brings a broad global background in technology, healthcare and institutional investment to his role at NaviNet, where he is the senior vice president responsible for all provider-facing business. Mr. Foppema is responsible for NaviNet’s provider strategy, including the development, launch and ongoing deployment of all provider market offerings. These offerings focus on driving adoption of physician practice software solutions through a patient-centric strategy that empowers healthcare professionals to deliver better patient satisfaction, enhance claims collections and lower the costs of high-quality care delivery. The first applications that have been rolled out are NaviNet PM (practice management) and NaviNet EMR (electronic medical records).

Prior to NaviNet, Mr. Foppema established and led the healthcare practice at Arcadia Solutions. His expertise in business development and technology strategies resulted in this practice growing to be 70% of the business within three years and directly contributed to the Pohlad Group’s acquisition of Arcadia Solutions. Mr. Foppema has advised on many turnaround situations in Europe and the Americas for companies such as Cable & Wireless, Hewlett-Packard, Interoute, Reuters, and Textron Financials. In his role as a management consultant for MasterCard Advisors, Mr. Foppema drove organizations like Bank of America and several Blue Cross Blue Shield plans to achieve better operational effectiveness, growth and profitability.

Mr. Foppema attended Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where he received a Masters in Computer and Information Science, and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
